Tourists book 70% of accommodation in Romania’s Prahova Valley for the holidays

With winter already in full swing and the holidays knocking on the doors, tourists are booking up rooms in Romania’s Prahova Valley for this Christmas, with almost 70 percent of the accommodation already reserved.

Sinaia, Busteni and Azuga will probably see increasing reservations as the holidays approach. Compared to previous years, hotel operators are offering tourists more packages that include two to seven nights’ accommodation and various facilities with different prices.

For example, a two star hotel in Sinaia offers packages of four nights at prices between RON 450 and RON 1,100 per room. The price includes four nights’ accommodation, vouchers for the restaurant, meeting Santa (for children), parking and free internet, according to Agerpres newswire.

In the same resort, a three-star hotel is offering packages at prices between RON 550 and RON 1,800 including two or three nights accommodation, breakfast, Christmas dinner, access to sauna, swimming pool and jacuzzi.
