Moldova has improved the rating of perceived corruption, but is still in category of the most corrupt countries

In Transparency International ranking Moldova has climbed by 18 positions compared to 2011 and has ranked 94th out of 176.

In 2011, Moldova held 112th place in the ranking, and in 2010 – 105th.Romania holds 66th position in the list, Russia – 133rd, and Ukraine – 144th.

This year, as earlier, the least corrupt countries in the world appear to be Denmark, Finland and New Zealand.

Experts say, the most complex corruption situation is North Korea, Somalia, Sudan, Myanmar (Burma) and Uzbekistan.
