Bulgaria is in the group of EU pessimists

Bulgaria is in the group of seven EU member countries with the most pessimistic expectations in view of the financial status of households for 2013, shows the latest analysis of Eurostat.

According to this statistical information the greatest pessimists in the EU are the Greeks – around 45% of negative expectations. Closely following are the citizens of Hungary, Malta and Portugal. Bulgaria is also in this group of pessimists together with Lithuania and Italy with a level of pessimist below 40%.

Most optimistic about their financial future are people in Denmark, Norway and Luxembourg, where the level of pessimism is below 10%. The group of optimists contains also Finland, the UK, Romania, Estonia and Holland. The golden mean consists of Poland, Belgium, France, Germany and the Czech Republic.
