08:02 13.11.2012

In the past days, one small local earthquake was recorded in the Kerch-Anapa district in the Black Sea with a magnitude of 1.8 (the intensity at the center of about 2 points). This was reported in the National UNN ARC committee on construction and architecture.

In the near zone were six relatively weak earthquakes: Two earthquakes in the Vrancea Mountains (Romania), with magnitudes 2.6 and 3.1 (the intensity at the center of 4 and 4.5 points), two earthquakes in western Turkey with magnitudes 2.8 and 3.7 (the intensity at the center of 3 and 4.5 points), and one in central Turkey earthquake with magnitude 2.6 and 3.1 (the intensity at the center of 3 and 3.5 points).

Information about the earthquake effect is unknown.Anomalies in the deformation fields that point to the preparation of a strong earthquake in the Crimea, have been identified. As reported by the UNN, in late October the Crimean network of stations reported two weak local earthquakes in the Kerch-Anapa district. Earthquake magnitude 2.2 and 1.8, the intensity at the center of two and 1.5 points respectively.
