Georgian railroad employees to protest

On October 24 cargo traffic on Georgian Railways will be frozen for 8 hours. About 200 employees of Georgian Railways intend to conduct a preventative protest.

The action is aimed at making the administration of the company improve labor conditions, security measures and wages, Trend reports.

Freezing of traffic will be the first step in the protest. In case the administration ignores the demands, railway employees will act radically. Certain plans will be adopted at the meeting on October 25.
