Bulgarians still least thriving in EU

Even though the percentage of Bulgarians who have declared themselves as «thriving», the Balkan country is still the least thriving EU member state, according to a survey conducted by Gallup.

A mere 10% of Bulgarians say they are thriving, with only Hungary (12%) and Greece (14%) approaching the country's level of misery.

A total of 39% of all Bulgarian responders have described themselves as «suffering», the highest share among all states in the bloc.

51% of Bulgarians say they are «struggling.»
