Georgia might get a new government

The leader of the coalition of «Georgian Dream» and likely new prime minister of Georgia Bidzina Ivanishvili plans to announce a new government on October 8, reports the Georgian media.

Ivanishvili, who is the richest man in Georgia and at the same time has - not too long political career, said that no member of the previous government will remain in office.

According to the official results of the elections held last week, a coalition of «Georgian Dream» becomes at least 83 of the 150 seats in parliament.

Party «United National Movement» President Mikheil Saakashvili, who dominated the parliament for the past eight years, is now moving into the opposition.

Bidzina Ivanishvili said after the victory, which aims to improve Georgia's relations with neighboring Russia, and intends to continue Georgia's integration into NATO and the European Union.
