Investment in Crimea's recreation center Kimmerik City may reach $2.5 billion

The project to create a modern year-round recreational center, Kimmerik City, in the eastern part of the Crimea with the volume of attracted investments of $2.5 billion was offered to investors at the 3rd International Investment Business Forum of the Commonwealth of Independent States, Yalta Business Meetings.

UKRINFORM learned this from the information policy department of the Council of Ministers of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.

«In the recreation center, it is proposed to create a resort area, an entertainment area, a golf club with a lounge and a water park, a city recreation area, an area to accommodate premium-class hotels, a coastal area for rest with pensions and health centers, and build a transport terminal,» the information policy department of the Council of Ministers of Crimea reported.

Also, in its territory it is planned to create new recreational areas, a nature park, a regional landscape park and a resort area.

It is expected that this project will help relieve the southern coast of the Crimea, create at least 10 thousand jobs, promote the cultural and natural potential of eastern Crimea, involve major hotel chains and increase tourism.

As reported, on September 28-30, Yalta is hosting the 3rd International Investment Business Forum of the Commonwealth of Independent States, Yalta Business Meeting.
