Cabinet cancels mandatory certification of hotels

Cabinet cancelled the mandatory certification of hotel services, the Economic Development and Trade Ministry press service informs.

The government adopted the relevant resolution at the meeting on September 5.

The purpose of adopting regulations is to ensure consistency in the legislation on the tourism sector.

The Ministry noted that grading hotels and similar accommodations is voluntary, and certification services for temporary accommodation remains mandatory.

The implementation of this decision will ensure reduction of costs of tourism sector in the provision of temporary accommodation.
