Port of Odessa launches SIPC system

On April 2 in the port of Odessa began to operate a Single Information Port Community (SIPC) system, the main objective of which is execution of electronic orders. Recall that electronic order operates in test mode since October 2012.

Originally the system was planned to be launched from 1 February 2013. But in Ukraine, the rules of work with digital signatures have changed, so not all the port clients managed to receive electronic keys of a single sample. According to experts of Odessa port, by April 2 all the digital signature keys are working properly. Registration of electronic order becomes mandatory.

Introduction of electronic order is profitably to all the participants of transport process, namely the port workers, customs officers, employees of container terminals, freight forwarders, shipping lines agents. Duplication of the same information in the customs, port, terminals is eliminated and the freight forwarders are greatly save time for registration of an order.
