Employees of the «Batumi international container terminal» are on strike, demanding a rise in wages.

They also demand to open a medical station, conduct of immediate measures to ensure the labor safety, arrangement of locker rooms, lavatories, and catering facilities, Business Georgia informs.

The company has made an official written statement, noting that it had negotiated on the employees’ concerns, but it fulfills all requirements of the country’s labor legislation.
