Georgia's Saakashvili urges diversification of gas supplies

Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili supports the idea of diversifying gas supplies, but believes that the country should use Kazakh and Turkmen gas rather than Russian.

The Georgian president also stresses the role of Azerbaijan as Georgia's strategic partner in the sphere of energy.

According to Saakashvili, Georgia has managed to establish as well-balanced and safe an energy system as no other European country.
