Turkey and Israel to discuss compensation for Mavi Marmara incident

Turkey and Israel will discuss compensation payments for the Mavi Marmara incident in Ankara on April 21-22.

Turkey will organize a special meeting on April 25 to mark the 65th anniversary of Israel’s independence.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu apologized for the Mavi Marmara incident in March. The apologies caused major outrage among the Israeli public, but helped improve relations with Turkey.
