Sochi Mayor proposed to freeze air ticket prices for the Olympics-2014 time

Anatoliy Pakhomov has proposed to freeze air and railway ticket prices to Sochi for the Olympics-2014 time.

The Mayor fears that potential rise in the railway and air ticket prices will have a negative impact on the number of guests to the Olympics city. According to him, fixed prices for tickets could be introduced for the time of the Olympic Games.

At present a compartment ticket from Moscow to Adler costs approximately 9-10 thousand rubles. The cost of a one-way flight at the beginning of next March starts from 11.9 thousand rubles. The most expensive ticket currently costs approximately 33 thousand rubles.
