Priorities of the Ukrainian chairmanship-in-office of BSEC will be announced in Istanbul on January 24, 2013

H.E. Mr. Mykola MELENEVSKY, Ambassador-at-Large, representative of the Chairman-in-Office of BSEC, will pay a working visit to the BSEC Headquarters in Istanbul, on 24 January 2013. According to information provided to BSN by PERMIS mass media department, H.E. Mr. MELENEVSKY will present the priorities of the Ukrainian Chairmanship-in-Office at the BSEC Headquarters to the representatives of the BSEC Member States, Related Bodies, Observers and Sectoral Dialogue Partners.

These priorities will promote the implementation of the new BSEC Economic Agenda and will constitute the roadmap for the Organization until 30 June 2013.

As is known, Ukraine has assumed the Chairmanship-in-Office of BSEC as of 1 January 2013, for a term of six months ending on 30 June 2013. During this period, the Ukrainian Chairmanship envisages to implement a comprehensive calendar of events which is expected to contribute to enhancing regional cooperation in a number of areas.
