Georgian electricity prices to drop

The Georgian Energy Ministry, Telasi and Energo-Pro have agreed to reduce prices for electricity by 3.5 tetri on January 1.

A three-month memorandum was signed with the two companies. Consumers of 0-300 KW/h (90% of consumers) will have electricity prices reduced by 3.5 tetri for three months.

Telasi consumers using 100 KW.h will have prices reduced from 13.48 to 9.94 tetri, consumers of 100-300 KW/h will have them reduced from 16 to 12.46 tetri.

Energo-Pro consumers of 100 KW/h will have price reduction from 12.98 to 9.44 tetri, 100-300 KW/h from 16.52 to 12.98 tetri.
