The most expensive land in Russia is in Krasnodar Krai

According to the rating, conducted for the first time by analytical centre «Sovecon», the highest prices for farmland in the Russian regions were recorded in Krasnodar Krai ($ 1.7 ths per hectare), Rostov Oblast ($ 1.3 thousand) and Stavropol Krai ($ 1.2 thousand).

Experts believe that the main factor in the growth of prices on Russian land are the money of Western investment funds, pension funds and other funds. When buying land lots they assess their distance from port, the value of agricultural products, which are grown on the purchased land, and the price of the products, including delivery to the nearest port.

For conducting the rating experts considered the cost of privately owned plots ranging in size from 2 hectares excluding buildings.
